Story about the painting:

I finished this painting a few days before the 22nd anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the USA on September 11, 2001. At a time when the relentless war in Ukraine is raging on the border with Hungary, my homeland.
I feel that in those 22 years the world has not improved at all and evil is still actively pushing its horns.
The painting is a symbolic memento that warns against war and aggression. An iron rod sticking out of a piece of concrete expresses the idea of how easily solid reinforced concrete structures can become just a piece of waste in war due to human malice and hatred. It warns of the fragility of our being, which can easily find itself in ruins due to boundless aggression.
War leaves only rubble of scrap metal and concrete. The drop of water on the painting symbolically expresses the tears of sadness over this devastation.

The painting is dedicated to all victims of wars and terrorist attacks.
