Today, even small children know dinosaurs, ancient giant lizards that lived during the Mesozoic period between 200 and 66 million years ago.
The current popularity of these mysterious chewers has been brought by a number of film representations - from cartoons for children to horror films for adults.
Perhaps the most famous rendition of stories with dinosaurs was the cult film of the Oscar-winning director Steven Spielberg Jurassic Park from 1993.
